Zinc Diecasting

We have four hot chamber zinc die-casting machines ranging from fifty to eighty tons with shot sizes to four pounds.

Vision detection systems are mounted to the zinc die-casting machines to protect the molds from crashes.

Die cast machines are equipped with shot monitoring equipment to monitor for changes in the process.

A large Burnishing system is located within the Die cast Department to put a smooth shiny finish on the parts once the have been casted. Many customers find this process much more efficient than costly plating.

Vision based coordinate measuring machines for inspecting product and for doing complete first article inspections are also employed by the Die-casting Department.

Each die-casted part has its own unique inspection criteria which includes dimensional, functional and mating part fit checks. Product is inspected at specified intervals by trained machine operators to insure product quality.

The Die-casting Department has access to our fully equipped tool shop and a skilled work force with over 30 years of die making and die design experience.

We also have an exceptional preventive maintenance program that utilizes a state of the art ultrasonic cleaning system to ensure that our dies are properly maintained to produce quality parts at their maximum expected life.

Our die related experience and expertise allows us not only to take a project from conception all the way through production, but also to do it in the most efficient manner.
